The department is mainly involved and actively participating in diagnosis and treatment of various oral and maxillofacial diseases, tumors and injuries that require minimally invasive or complex surgical intervention as well as dental implants. Faculty members in the department teach all the curriculum and courses in the specialties mentioned below.  In addition, the department participates in counseling and treatment services in the dental clinics in Faculty of Dentistry and the University Hospital. The department is also actively participating in community services and scientific research.

2- Oral Biology and Histology.

3- Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

4- Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.

5- Oral Medicine.
