The Faculty of Dentistry organized on Wednesday morning an educational awareness campaign for oral and dental health at Al-Kasai elementary and middle school to memorize the Holy Quran in the region, with the aim of building a society aware of the importance of oral and dental health and ways to prevent caries.

The campaign included an awareness lecture on "oral and dental health", ways to take care of her health, as well as the importance of oral and dental hygiene and the need to eat a balanced healthy diet, along with the importance of periodic visits to the dentist.

The dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed Assiri, stated that the campaign managed to preform preliminary dental examination for about 70 students, during which fluoride was applied to their teeth, some cases were transferred to the college clinics to continue their treatment, pointing out that the campaign is among many educational and awareness activities for the community provided by the college of dentistry.
