The College of Computer Science and Information Systems - represented by the Student Activities and Scientific Research Units in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university - launched the first Technical Innovations Forum 2022, under the sponsorship of the President of the University, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Khudairi.

The forum aims to encourage talented and distinguished people in computing and information technology, discover and promote youth energies in the technical field, support effective participation internally and externally, and transform technical ideas into successful investment projects.

The forum includes an exhibition of the scientific posters, presenting the projects of the students at the College of Computer Science and Information Systems. Such activity offers an opportunity to develop the soft skills of the participating students, develop their projects, and spread the spirit of competition among them. In addition, there is a discussion panel entitled “Future Technologies” in which some faculty members of the College of Computer Science and Information Systems will participate.

The forum also includes a competition for creative technical ideas to solve real problems in the field of health, education, digital transformation, and community service.
