The Faculty of Dentistry, represented by the community service unit, participated in the World Diabetes Day event, which was held in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine at the Department of education in Najran region, where the staff of the faculty presented an educational awareness campaign about

the relationship of diabetes and oral health

A preliminary dental examination was done during the campaign to some visitors and invited them to complete treatment in the clinics of the faculty. A lecture was presented to a number of students and faculty members on how to treat diabetes patients in dental clinics and the precautions to be followed during treatment. The general director of education in Najran region praised the efforts of the faculty and what it offers, especially in the community health program, which includes periodic visits to the schools in Najran City to educate and rise the awareness of the community in oral and dental health.
