The Dentistry Education Committee is one of the new dentistry committees at the college level. It is linked to the Deputy Faculty of Dentistry for Development and Quality and aims to implement the vision, mission, and goals of the Faculty of Dentistry and the University of Najran in light of the rapid development in dentistry education so that the educational outputs are compatible with their counterparts locally, regionally and globally.

Vision:

Contribute to achieving the periodic development of the academic plan and ensure the revision of the Faculty of Dentistry program on academic grounds.

Mission:

Periodically study and review the academic plan of the Faculty of Dentistry program to keep abreast of the continuous development in dental education.

Encourage faculty to apply the latest teaching methods to curriculum development.

Ensure the application of quality standards in education and modern methods of evaluation that contribute to the development of the program.

Tasks of the Committee:

Review and develop the academic plan of the program.

Study, review, develop policies and directions for the course description and assessment methods, and follow up on their implementation.

Study the annual and quarterly reports of the program and the courses and use them in the development of the program and the decisions of the Unit.

As well as assign whose efficient to accomplish all the tasks .

Goals:

Update and develop the curriculum in line with the vision, mission, and goals of the Faculty of Dentistry and the University of Najran program.

 Periodic review of quarterly reports and monitoring of challenges by conduct meetings with course coordinators and department heads.

Organizing workshops periodically for faculty members in cooperation with other faculty
